Regenerative Orthopaedics

Regenerative orthopaedics is a subspecialty of regenerative medicine that focuses on regeneration of lost tissue, acceleration of healing, and pain relief to treat orthopaedic conditions such as osteoarthritis, tendonitis, low back pain, joint injuries, ligament injuries, sprains and strains etc. Regenerative orthopaedics uses:

  • Stem cells: Undifferentiated cells that can transform into any type of tissue. These are usually obtained from the bone marrow or fat.
